Parental involvement is vital to a child’s successful school experience. Parents and teachers work in partnership to that end. We encourage a close relationship and copious communication with the teachers.
Because our school is so small, BPCNS parents play an important role in the healthy functioning of the school. They support the school by contributing time, energy and resources. Fundraising to close our budget gap and to create scholarships are led by the parent body. Parents also help repair materials, organize social gatherings, serve on the supervisory board, and share their talents and time in other ways. Parents pay a one-time, refundable bond as a show of commitment to supporting the school. Every parent is asked to participate. Parents also participate in school projects and share their interests and skills with the school and the children. Each family is expected to attend school meetings.
